Fun + Games

I love dressing up for summer days spent on a nearby island. It's the perfect place to enjoy my weekends by playing board games and listening to great music and not forgetting to pack a picnic lunch for all!!

I Love You, June!

Happy June 1st! June is my favorite month of the whole year. I have many things to look forward to :: My 23rd birthday, my new SB Summer 2011 Line, road trips, a new SB website and SO many other wonderful things!! Running Circles

My 23rd birthday is on Saturday and I can't wait to have a few days to relax and enjoy some time off. Looking back and reflecting on my 22nd year, I'm realizing how it's been packed full of so many accomplishments and dreams come true!
This week has been crazy! I've been running errands, ordering this, printing that, working and gathering, business meetings, interviews, the list goes on... phew! While running around the city, I've committed to casual clothing and have left my heels in the closet for a bit. I can't wait to begin to present things I've been working on to the www shortly!! Summer Skin

Guess What?! It's almost summer!!! This week I completely cleaned out my closet and made the transition from winter coats and plaids to lightweight summer sundresses, sandals and sweaters.
It's been a fun change from cold to warmer weather in Portland and I can't wait to spend more time in the sun. As you head out into the sun, make sure to bring along your sunhats and sunscreen to protect your pretty skin!

In The Studio : An Outfit Post

I was resistant to wear a Canadian Tuxedo (aka Denim on denim) for the longest time but lately I've fallen victim to the trend and I l-o-v-e it! There's such an old world utilitarian vibe with an effortless ease that makes it irresistible. If you find yourself looking for a new trend to follow, I'd suggest picking up some tops and accessories and pairing them with your pants, skirts and other pieces. Layer, layer, layer! Walking On A Dream

Above Portland, sits a beautiful mansion with a full view of the city. Often, I've begun going frequently to escape the hustle and bustle and will often take some friends, tea, fresh fruit and scones along with me. It's easy to get lost in the fairytale of this place. On this particular day, It was cold and misty, and perfect.

City of Giants

Today, I headed into Northwest Portland, to Chinatown for brunch and a business meeting. I also managed to squeeze in a quick shoe shopping spree... success! I love the contrast in this part of town, bright red streetlamps and maple trees against the grime and gray of the city. A beautiful picture so early in the day. Now, I'm heading back into my studio to create more beautiful things.
