Hide + Seek Chain Earring DIY

Lately, I've been a big fan of wearing one dramatic earring at a time. Maybe it's the fact that it will now go nicely with my asymmetrical haircut or the fact that I really don't want to wear two pairs of long dangle earrings when I can get away with one. Last week, I made myself a handful of long layered chain + charm earrings and now, I'll show you how:
Materials needed:
Wire cutters or Pliers
Small Metallic colored Chains
1 Earring hook
Small Circular Wire Ring
*charms - optional
Cut 3-5 pieces of chain all in staggering (aka. stair-stepping) lengths using your wire cutters. Chains can all be the same or you can incorporate different colors, shapes and sized chains. Next, ply your wire ring open and slide the ends of each chain onto circle. Adding an earring hook, next use your wire cutters to force wire ring closed.
a) you're done, great job!! OR b) you can now add charms to the bottoms or middle of some of your chains. This will amp up the look and make them even more festive.
Evoke your inner bad-ass with a hint of ladylike gold and some long layered chains. You really can't go wrong here.. have fun!
BTW- Before an After haircut pics coming soon:)
