I know I already introduced you to the perfect clutch for summer, but now it's time for theperfect summer dress. The Sway Two-Way Dress is a beautiful sandwashed charcoal gray dress with a double peter pan collar, and the best part, is that it's TWO DRESSES IN ONE! Inside the dress, is a hidden drawstring that allows you to have the option of a classic a-line shift dress or a spunky cute fitted waist silhouette. The fabric choices are beautiful, a darling satin, micro suede and a beautiful sandwashed rayon, all in gray and black tones. DIY nights with my Mr. are the best. Recently, we made at home stencils, his was an Indian chief and mine was a little fawn... I haven't had so much fun in a while. They turned out pretty great too!

Sweet Tart Blouse - Style Guide

The Sweet Tart Blouse is the perfect summertime blouse. Slightly billowy in fit, and with a barely sheer pink bottom colorblock makes this piece the perfect swimsuit cover-up or go-to shirt of the season. I love wearing mine with black jeans, cuffed right above my ankles.What I Wore:

Fade Away Tank - Style Guide

The Fade Away Tank is one of my favorite pieces in the SB collection. It's sheer panel can easily be worn over a lace camisole or with a bandeau, but my favorite way to wear this top is with a simple black bra, and tucked into a vintage-inspired skirt with strappy heels.What I Wore:

Life Unexpected || Exciting SB News

It's not often that I get the chance to blog about how things are going in my personal life, but recently I've had to make some drastic changes and thought I'd clue you all into what's going on. Back in March, I was told that I was no longer going to be working for the Advertising and Marketing Agency that I'd put almost 3 years into due to the economy. I took this news as an opportunity to pursue the one thing I've been wanting to do for years: create a handmade clothing line. Many people have asked me how I'm able to stay at home and work for myself, presuming that I come from family wealth, have investors or maybe even a rich boyfriend who's giving me money to play with. In reality, I have been working completely out of my personal savings account, independently funding each and every business purchase as well as paying for all personal living and life expenses. It's been a struggle.
This presents me with some good news for all of you! As of this week, I'll begin releasing a couple of the pieces I've been working on and over the summer will continue to create and release new items!!! The pieces will be sold on my Etsy shop for now, and later this summer will be available on an online store, independently hosted and run by myself. Lots of changes are happening and I'm learning so much about myself, small business and the highs and lows of following my dreams but I wouldn't change a thing.

I hope you'll all get the chance to look at the pieces I've been working so hard on and feel very emotionally and artistically connected to. I know you'll love them! Baby's Got A Brand New Hairdo

After 3 attempts, I finally have Ombre hair!! I'm loving how fun it is... plus, I've never been a (partial) blonde before and boy is it fun.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I'm going to be working hard at editing some product and lifestyle pictures I shot today of the first few SB Summer pieces!! Look out, the shop will be filled with pretty handmade goods early next week! Happy Friday
