{D.I.Y. Record Sleeve Masks}

As we all know, Halloween is on our heels and will be here before we can even say "boo!" Here is a silly little DIY for those of you who are less excited about dressing up but still want to participate in all the jubilee. If you have 3 minutes and a sense of humor, you'll enjoy creating your own record sleeve mask:Supplies Needed:
Record Sleeve with a to-scale human face on it, Scissors, String or ribbon, sharp pointed object (ie. pen, pencil, nail, ect.)
Directions:
1. Admire your choices for faces to don, and pick your favorite. I found two records, one of Eydie Gourme and one of Jimmy Buffett. I figured playing Eydie would be too predictable, so I went with the ridiculous Mr. Buffett.{*see additional step-by-step photos below}
2. Tear your sleeve apart so that you have your selected face on one layer of cardboard. Using a good pair of paper cutting scissors, cut out around your face. You can include hair, ears and even clothing if you feel inclined.
3. Once the face has been cut out to it's desired look, use a sharp item to punch holes on either side of the mask, preferably in the middle. Don't neglect to cut small holes out of the eyes so you can see.
*This is the point where you can edit your mask additionally if you like. For instance, if I had chosen to be Eydie Gorme, I might have added some super glittery eyeshadow and a hair-bow to her cut out.
4. Tie string through the holes on either side of your cut out.
5. Wear with pride. Everyone will be so excited that there is a B-List musician is at their party and all your efforts will be worth it!
Enjoy you crazy kids!
