My name is Crystal, but I go by CAPow, which is an abbreviation of my first initial, middle initial, and the first 3 letters of my last name. I live in Upstate NY with my awesome boyfriend M and our two cats Styles and Miyagi.
I have a full time day job, but my passion lies in creating. I have a blog (windshield diaries) which is a labor of love for me, I'm a photographer, I paint, I draw, I sew, I crochet and any of the above can and will show up in my etsy shop!
I create things because I believe that is what life is about. I can't imagine living a life where I'm not constantly working on something. I'd like to leave behind a little beauty to this world when I'm gone.
Although photography is more of a hobby than a career for me right now, I have dabbled in shooting a few weddings, which I have found equal parts exhilarating and terrifying. It's something that I would love to turn into a career, but have yet to mustered up the courage to take the leap!
