{Trendy Thursday: Old Favorites}

Call me nostalgic but with the weather getting colder and trees beginning to change hue, I am finding myself reminiscing on some of my favorite items i've got littered around. Old favorites that make four walls and a roof feel like home. I thought it'd be fun to share some of my nearest and dearest treasures with you:This photo of my mother, sister and myself from ages ago. It always reminds me of some of the happiest times we sharedThe first record I ever purchased back when I was 14 and didn't even own a record player. It's scratched and warped and I still try to listen to it every Sunday. Billie Holiday will always have my heartMy great grandfather's prize belt buckle from one of the many fairs he'd show horses and cattle at. I chose it from a selection of his things when I was 9 and have loved it sinceMy taps. One of 4 pairs I own, that I like to dust off and use now and again. I miss dancing very much, and tap amongst the other styles was one of my favoritesMy mother's prom dress from 1977. She was 17 and I'm sure she looked stunning in it. I love the colors and really understand where I get my current sense of fashion from by looking at pieces like this that she used to wear

not pictured: my Cinderella VHS tape. Happy Thursday to you all, I hope the week is going by quickly. I can't wait for the weekend
