Hello friends. My name is Thursday and I am a lady of many hats. Some are well worn while others still have their tags. I am a new mom, a compulsive crafter, a lifelong thrifter, a hideaway hermit and a baker extraordinaire. I blog regularly about these things and more at MyGirlThursday.com. In July I re-opened my online shop with a brand new line of aprons and totes made with second-chance materials. Soon I will be introducing my updated line of resin belt buckles inspired by my love of handmade dolls and a mothers wisdom.
A day in my life often begins with a late start, an afternoon of floor rolling with my daughter, supper, a bath, a cuddle and a baby bedtime. My evenings are often spent in my craft room with a sewing machine, an iron and a heart full lofty goals.
I often ask myself why I do all of this. The late stressful nights, nerve-racking craft fairs and unsuccessful photo shoots can be a bit much at times, but they do not come close to the overwhelming urge to create. I love to craft, but more than that I need to craft. I've found a friend in needle and thread and this friend has introduced me to a world of unending inspiration.
