Heads Up!

Hello All! I'm excited to share that starting Sunday, the Seablanket blog will be taken over! For the entire week, my good friend Kevin from Chemistry Of Cool will be calling the shots and bringing you my regular lineup from a man's perspective. Expect only the coolest from the upcoming week, and an amazing giveaway beginning Monday!
Chemistry of Cool is just the tip of the iceberg for Kevin. By day he works at Kamp Grizzly, a Motion Graphics Production/Post Production Studio in Portland, Oregon. His work as a Motion Graphics designer and video editor gives him the opportunity to be on the up and up with trends, fashion and music. By night, he can be found spinning records at a local bar, bringing hip hop and classic jazz and blues together. Whether you know it or not, Kevin has played a huge part in making Seablanket possible. From doing logo design to coding the blog layout to creating all sorts of beautiful videos to promote my Etsy Shoppe, you've all seen a sample of his work. Here's just a little insight to what Kevin does for fun:

I'll be taking the week off from blogging to get healthy and focus on crafting for the Renegade Craft Fair Holiday Sale. I've got a lot to do, and I couldn't bare to leave you without some inspiration. I know you'll love what we've got in store for you, and urge you to greet Kevin with open arms! weekend wrap-up

This weekend was incredible! I was able to spend so much time with one of my closest friends, Kevin of Chemistry of Cool! Thursday evening, we went to an Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros concert...it was so much fun! I've never seen a crowd so enthusiastic and genuinely fully of joy! Friday, I worked from Kamp Grizzly, then went on a hike and saw Scott Pilgrim(highly suggest it). Saturday, my sister and I moseyed about the city. It was a lovely, long day. Saturday night, I went to Kevin's house where he made me vegetarian dinner and cupcakes and i was extremely impressed - no food poisoning!! Sunday, I met up with some new friends from Seattle, and had lunch and frozen yogurt! Later, I met up with my good friend Jacque and we went to the Jenny and Johnny show. I also met a sweet reader, tabitha!
Amazing weekend, food, friends, shows, sister//sister time, and I was so sad I had to come home!!! Can't wait till next time PDX!xxoo chelsea
