Hello again! Welcome back for another beauty tutorial! This time, we are focusing on Brigitte Bardot inspired makeup! This 1960's bombshell knew how to play up her pouty lips and alluring eyes, just right, and today I'm going to show you how. The color pallet for this look is cream, peach and brown... my favorite summer colors.
The first step in achieving the perfect bombshell look is to set a perfect foundation. This look is achieved by covering any darkness under the eyes with concealer and setting the entire face with a translucent powder.
Next, a peachy cheek. Emphasize your cheeks with a subtle peachy/pink blush. Brush the peach blush from the apples to the temples, until cheekbones are defined. A matte cheek will make your eyes pop!!
A bare eye lid is perfect for this look. Use a sculpting brush to give your eyebrows shape.
Add just a little highlighting creme to make your brow bone, inner eye and outer eyelid glow.
Next, a thin line of brown liquid eyeliner on the top lid. Add a cute wisp at the end with your liner to create a cat eye. This will make any eye look big and bold and mysterious.
The last step of the sultry kitten eye is mascara and curling your lashes. Curl and apply mascara at the outer corners of your upper and lower lashes. This will add to the kitten eye effect and give you va-va-voom eyes.
The final key to the Brigitte Bardot Bombshell look is perfectly pouty lips. Use a baby pink lipstick and finish the look off with a dab of peach gloss right in the middle of your lower lip. This extra shine will give your lips all the pout they can handle!
Ta-da!! Now, add this look with your sassy 60's ponytail and throw on a chiffon dress or a bikini and knock 'em dead with this Bardot bombshell look!!
