{Please & Thank You; May 26th}

Good morning everyone! I decided to squeeze in a last minute Please & Thank You this week. As you know, I'll be announcing a giveaway later this evening and giving you all a sneak peek into the Seablanket Etsy Shoppe this afternoon...Until then, hope you enjoy these questions and answers:

Q: Are you still planning to open an etsy shop? what will you sell?
A: I am! I am!! The shoppe will have vintage pieces for men and women as well as clothing and accessories handmade by me. I'm really excited to show it all off later today!

Q: When is your Etsy shop going to be up and running?!?! I cannot wait!!
A: It will be opening next Friday, June 4th, early in the morning. It's my 22nd birthday, and I really wanted to launch as a gift to myself. I seriously cannot wait. NERVES!

Q: Not a question; Stoked for you!
A: Thank you so much! ♥

Q: Who is your tattoo artist? I think your tattoos are beautiful! I live in Oregon as well and would love to have mine done by the same person.
A: Hello to another Oregonian!! My tattoo artist is Jerry Ware, from Atlas Tattoo Parlor in NE Portland, OR. I'd recommend any of the artists in the Atlas Shop. They're kind and amazing tattooers.

Q: I'd like it if you would move closer to me: what do you say?!
A: Well, I'm content where I am for the time being, but thank you for the offer. Wherever you live, I'm sure I'd like to visit! I would love to meet all my blog readers in the next few years on a big world-wide trip!

Q: Your Brigitte Bardot tutorial is possibly my favorite of all your DIY Tuesdays (except maybe the bow-scarf one :) Where do you get your inspirations? Or rather how did you figure out how to do hair like her? Lot's of research?A: First off, thank you so much! Secondly, being a beauty school dropout gives me the upper hand on attempting most hairstyles. It gave me the basic knowledge of how to get a foundation for any type of hairstyle and once you've got that, I enjoy bs-ing my way through the steps and coming up with my own version of things. I am always inspired by classic women with unique personalities. The essence they evoke is always attractive, and I love channeling them in my daily hair or makeup routines.
If you are interested in 1960's hair, I would recommend purchasing a book on mod or pin-up hair styles and try them yourself. See what works for you, and switch things up a bit to make them your own. Nothing is cuter than a classy chick with a retro do!

Q: You are so beautiful! What is your normal makeup routine, from day to day?
A: Daily, I wear a fairly sheer foundation, concealer and translucent powder. Then a subtle layer of blush. For eyes, I fill my eyebrows with loose powder, to look natural and wear a honey-toned eye shadow over my entire eyelid. Next, I smudge my thin brown eyeliner across my top lid, and leave the bottom alone. Last, I curl and apply mascara to my eyelashes. I always rock the chap stick, so I suppose that goes on too:) It's simple and fun and always looks good.

Q: This might seem a strange question, but i am terrible at searching the web. do you have any advice about finding lovely things? =] ♥
A: I tend to search flickr and fffound for images when I'm looking for something specific. I also use weheartit, and tumblr are great resources.

Q: Do you have any tips on how to make friends? xo
A: I am the last person to ask for this! I have few friends, but they are all very special to me. I'd suggest that if you're looking for new things, to try and step out of your shell. Plan small events with some people you barely know but have common interests with and go participate in a book reading or make music, or go to movies. I met one of my greatest friends at a concert, and we arranged to go see some indie films a few months later. We hit it off and now, I treasure her friendship. Be yourself and I'm sure friends will find you!

Thank you all for your questions! I will be seeing you soon, for the sneak peek!!
