Happy Monday! Today, I'm so excited to share the most fun and probably my favorite style trend of the moment. It's one that's close to my heart, as I always try to incorporate it into my daily wardrobe. That "it" is Rocker Chic. Don't be deceived, It's not about being rough and rugged, but more about evoking a sense of independence and empowerment. To me, I always try to look like a lady by adding feminine touches to soften the edgy pieces.

How-to pull off this look:
1. A sturdy leather (or faux leather) boot. Solid sole, comfortable for riding or kicking ass.
2. A great dark denim is needed. Not glove-tight, but fitting - I love my levis for just this reason. If you're more of a skirt/dress kind of lady, I would recommend something like a pencil skirt that fits above the knee, and pair it with some colorful tights!
3. The basic tee. Preferably white, but if you've got a great vintage tee lying around, take advantage of the opportunity to wear it. In this case, baggy & destroyed is a good thing.
4. Screw the leather jacket, throw on a cardigan (this is that feminine touch I mentioned earlier)
5. Accessorize. Add a fun cocktail ring or some great layering necklaces.
