Hello all, and happy Saturday!! I wanted to share a simply adorable Saturday D.I.Y. with you all... Cactus in a cup!! Follow these few steps to achieve your own adorable potted cactus!
Supplies Needed:
1 Small Cactus (mine is from Lowe's, $1.50)
1 Vintage Coffee Mug (mine is from Goodwill, $0.25)
Potting Soil, About one cup
Hammer
Step 1. Using your hammer, carefully tap at the top and bottom of the mugs handle until it breaks off.
Step 2. Fill your mug 1/2 full with potting soil. Pack firmly. Place cactus on top, and center. Fill sides will potting soil. Pack firmly.
Step 3. Display proudly!!
I cannot take personal credit for this. When I was in Portland, Oregon a few weeks back, a friend and I saw a cactus in a cup and both LOVED it! So, to that particular genius in Portland, thank you for the ultra-cute inspiration!
