{Please & Thank You}

If you look to the right side of my blog, you can see that I've added a "formspring.me" button. This is for those of you who have questions about stuff other than the everyday blog. Any question will do. I'll be responding to them on a weekly Wednesday blog, titled "Please & Thank You." Of course, the blog will only be as good as your questions make it, so ask away!!!
For today, I will answer a few questions I've received in the last 24 hours;

Q: What kind of camera do you use? I love the vintage|lomo effects.
A: I am slightly ashamed to say that I have no real camera. I use my iPhone for most of the shots on my blog. Occasionally, I will use my Mother's point and click. My MacBook also has a built-in camera. I think because I have such a terrible selection of cameras to choose from, I have fallen in love with the editing process, and while I have a lot to learn - I really do enjoy it. (I did just purchase a brand new big-girl camera via the internet, and should have it in my hands in the next few weeks!!)

Q: When are you opening your Etsy?
A: Hold your horses!! No, but really... being sick/out of town/sick again the last month has really taken a toll on my productivity. I am working hard to create one-of-a-kind items with vintage fabrics; it is very time consuming. Please bare with me, and believe me when I say I am just as excited as you, if not more so. Keep an eye out this early spring. I'll let you know when I'm ready to launch - maybe even host a fun giveaway too!

Q:
Who are you? What do you do? Why am I following you?
A: My name is Chelsea Michelle Horton. Professionally, I am an Account Coordinator at an Advertising & Marketing Firm. Personally, I am a 21 yr old D.I.Y. Blogger, with big dreams of designing and opening my own boutique someday. I live in Southern Oregon, USA in a cute little historic town. My favorite foods are: mashed potatoes, garden fresh salads and any veggie curry dish. My favorite movies are Lost in Translation and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. I don't like confrontation, and believe that honesty will always get you somewhere. I get lots of freckles in the summer, and have very pale, pinky-white skin. I don't know why you are following me, but I'm glad you are. Say hello sometime, stranger.

Q:
What's your favorite blanket? Is it from the sea?
A: Why yes, yes it is! I used to be quite the book worm. Once in an old novel, I read about the stars and the wind and waves, and how Vikings and Pirates used them to determine direction and temperature and the seasons. One of the things they mentioned were called "seablankets" and when translated, meant the top layer of the ocean, aka, what the human eye can see, while knowing that the ocean goes vastly deeper below. I have always been enamored with large bodies of water, and I fell in love with the term, it's almost like saying that a seablanket is the gatekeeper to the entire world below. Since then, I've also heard the term used in reference to thick fog that sits on the ocean, and also the clouds that rest on the horizon.

BTW, I finally reached 100 Followers on Blogger! Thank you to everyone who visits my blog each day. I really appreciate the support. Ya'll are the best!
