{Tutorial Tuesday: Scalloped Collar}

Supplies Needed:
Cotton Fabric
Scissors
Needle & Thread or Sewing Machine
Iron

Step 1. Fold a 8x24" piece of cotton fabric in half and sew along the open edge. Using a round edge, such as this roll of painters tape, draw half-circles using a soap chip, pen, or chalk the entire length of your fabric. Make sure that you are upwards from the sewn edge, not down to it.
Step 2. Sew long your scalloped lines, making sure to make a sharp pivot at the corners. Iron fabric.
Step 3. Trim the scalloped edges, as close as you can to your sewn scallops.
Step 4. Turn inside out and iron flat. Attach using a loose running stitch to your favorite tank top neckline.

Super fun look for very inexpensive! Once you get the hang of the scalloped edge, you could add it to anything; a pillowcase, curtains, skirts, dresses or a fun little clutch! Enjoy this sweet little accent piece, and come back tomorrow for my answers to your formspring questions in Wednesday's new blog "Please & Thank You!"
