Q: Do you still dance?
A: I wish I could say I do. I haven't danced since college to be honest. I really miss Modern Dance and it is something I'd love to get back into. My passion for it never died, however, I think my self confidence may have. Sad, but true.
Q: I love your sense of fashion, where do you do most of your shopping?
A: Well thank you kindly! To be honest, I'm pretty random when it comes to clothes shopping. I often will shop at Target or Forever 21 if I need something simple. I shop for all my jeans/pants at skate shops. Brands like Volcom fit me best, and are so comfortable. When looking for statement pieces, I tend to shop at Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie, or even a thrift store. Never underestimate the power of styling. Whenever I feel like my wardrobe is drab, I often try to pair new pieces together, or add layers to spice things up.
Q: How did you get your pretty awesome job?
A: My job has been acquired through a lot of hard work and determination. By chance, a position became available at a Marketing and Advertising Firm when I moved to this town a year and a half ago. My older sister worked for the company, and she got me an interview. Within a few hours I was told the job was mine, and after she moved onto a new town, I acquired her job and have been promoted several times since, now working as Account Coordinator. I would like to say it's just a job, but I cannot. I love the industry and have poured blood, sweat and a lot of tears into it. My advice to those interested in finding 'pretty awesome jobs' is to be determined and be dedicated. As a wise friend always tells me when I'm aiming for the stars, "there are plenty of people sitting around and talking about what they want to do, and never doing. Nothing will be handed to you, you've got to work for it." Words of wisdom to you all.

Q: What's your favorite DIY post that even impressed you? :) {via Diana, ourcitylights}
A: Diana. My favorite DIYs I've posted would have to be the Stenciled Cameo Tote and the recent Flowered Camera Strap. Both were so fun to make, and I got some fun feedback from people. I hope that my DIYs will continue to improve, as I feel they have been. I'd love to post some more advanced Tutorials for those who are more experienced with a sewing machine, etc and possibly post downloadable patterns as well. All in due time.
Q: What's your orientation?
A: By that, I'll assume you're asking if I like birds or blokes. I am heterosexual. I support all orientations and beliefs, but as for me, I only date men. To be honest, I've somewhat given up on the idea of 'True Love' for a while. I'm taking time to developing friendships and enjoy my alone time.
Q: Have you started hanging out with new people lately? If so how do you feel about them?
A: I have indeed, and I love getting to know new people. Friendships are very important to me, and I treasure those who come into my life. New people bring new life to any situation, and it's always interesting to see how people interact with one another.
Q: This isn't DIY related, but what do you for a gig? Do you go to school or do you have a job or work from home? :) {via Diana, ourcitylights}
A: I am an Account Coordinator at an Advertising and Marketing Firm. Broken down, I manage accounts and clients. Making sure that the deliverables are what the client requested, and communicate the clients vision to the creatives while managing the work flow. It's a lot of give and take, but I really enjoy it.
