{Please & Thank you: April 14th}

This week, I was asked a lot of fun questions and I cannot wait to answer them. No categories this week, just lots of fun questions... here we go!!

Q: W
hat type of make up do you use? what brand of foundation?
A: Mostly MAC products. I'm actually doing a Beauty Day tomorrow showing my Hair and Makeup tricks, and a "What's In My Makeup Bag" post. I'll let you know though: I use MAC's Studio Fix Fluid Foundation with SPF 15, in NW15. When applying, I mix with moisturizer so it goes on more sheer, but still covers uneven skin-tones.

Q: I saw your post on vitamins, do you take each on individually or is there a multi you take with all of them? and where do you buy them? health store? online? Thanks!
A: I take vitamins individually. I've found its a better deal to purchase the big bottles and just keep them in your medicine cabinet and take once a day. I buy my vitamins at Wallgreens or RiteAid. Most are under $9.00 and I can definitely sense a difference. I think it's very important for vegetarians to take vitamins as we don't get all we need from our foods. If you're looking for a simple starter kit for hair and skin vitamins, I would suggest Arbonne. They sell monthly kits of daily vitamin packs for women that are targeted for healthy hair and skin. I know a great Arbonne Rep if you're interested.

Q: Your hair is such a pretty shade of red, do you you color it yourself or have it done? What shampoo/conditioner do you use?A: Thank you, and yes, I do color it myself. I use Matrix SoColor in 6RC (aka. level 6 of Red/Copper). I went to cosmetology school and would rather dye my own hair. I use Paul Mitchell 'Instant Moisture' shampoo and conditioner. In the past/summer months, I'll add some color in my shampoo so my hair gets a mini color bath every morning.

Q: I'm not sure how to word this without sounding like I'm babbling, but I guess I'll just go for it. For the past few months, I've felt like I want to quit college, and I'm not exactly sure why. At this point, it feels like I'm wasting time and I am, because of earlier, unwise actions. The thing is, I would really like to have a job like yours in publicity. I don't know what the point of this post it. Do you have any thoughts to share?
A: Oh goodness, this is a big decision. First of all, let me say this: Just because you made mistakes in the past, does not mean that you can't make up for it in the future. Sure your GPA may not be as high as you'd wish, but employers see degrees, not grades.... remember that. Let me be straight with you. Stay in school. Dedicate yourself to finishing however much time you've got left, and get through it. Once it's over, it's over. Have you thought about changing your major?? If school bores you, chances are your chosen career will too. If I had the opportunity, I would go back to school now, and save myself all the blunders. I have to learn about the job daily, a DIY Job I suppose you could say:)
If you want to go into advertising or publicity, get a degree, and make your dreams come true. You can say "I want" over and over and over, but until you do something about it, take that risk, you can not rely on good things happening to you - You've got to make them happen for yourself. Whatever you decide upon, please let me know. I hope this helps a little. I'm sorry you've got such a dilemma.

Q: Did your tattoos hurt?
A: I'd be lying if I said they didn't. They weren't all painful, most of the time, they're just uncomfortable. An annoying repetitious metal spike that scrapes over your skin isn't going to be heaven. I do have to say that my tolerance has gone way up, and now they are a very easy process for me. Sometimes, it even tickles.

Q: When you give away stuff on your site... how do u choose from the comments who wins it?
A: I use a site called Random.org which allows a random, opinion-free selection and they become the winner! I really do love when the giveaway comments are detailed though, I like getting to know my followers:)

Q: How often do you come to Boise, if ever?A: I haven't been back to Boise since I moved almost 2 years ago. I'm planning a trip in June. I hope to see all my friends and visit my favorite places.

Q:
you seem so nice and sweet. this may be a silly question but do you ever get mad? you just seem so happy, it's hard to imagine you upset/annoyed! :)
A: Oh geeze, too funny. You know, some people say I'm an absolute wretch to be around. I guess I speak my mind, and lots of people have a big problem with the truth. I rarely get mad, but I do get frustrated often; for my inability to do something better, faster, etc. How about we call it all Passion. I am very passionate, and that swings both ways.

Q: Hey Chelsea, I'm going the random route today. First, what is your favorite mid-summer activity, the kind that you search for on a warm July night? Second, what is your favorite font for design? :)
A: Yay for random questions! My favorite mid-summer activity would be hiking. I l-o-v-e to enjoy nature at night and enjoy the mystery and solitude at night!! My favorite font!?! Oh gosh, I dunno. The thing I love about fonts is that they are so trendy = ever changing. I suppose if I had to choose a look, I will always love the chunky, hard-to-read fonts. They have the most interest and are often masculine... a look I enjoy!

Q:
where are you from originally? and what made you move?A: I was born and raised exactly where I'm living now. New house, but same town. I have moved several times, but a few years ago, when times got hard for me, I knew that I needed to be with my family and needed them for emotional support. It was a great decision, although living in this ghost of a town does really limit my lifestyle.

Q:
do you have alot of friends where you live? your crafts are so cute, when do you find time to do all your fun DIY's?
A: I do not have a lot of friends here, but the ones I do have are such great friends, I never really notice. As for finding time to craft and do DIY's, I think of it as a full-time job. I often have to plan my social calendar around my blogging schedule or craft time, and after my real day job. Being artistic is a must for me, I need it to function. I suppose I have dreams of this blog taking me to a bigger and better platform where I'm able to have more me-time, but for now, I'm committed to keep this up as long as I have faithful readers.

That's it for Q and A this week loves. Thanks always for being so kind to me, it means so much to have your support.
