This past week has been wonderful. A trip to Portland, seeing great friends, and of course trying new things!!
1. Physical Fitness pt. 3

This week, I decided I want to get a gym membership. I feel so good after exercising and really want to continue. My biggest issue will be finding a yoga class after work. No way I am getting up before work, so I've got to do it after... either way, I am really excited. Who knows, maybe if I find a good gym, I'll be able to participate in some dance classes again! Even if it is a beginner level, that would be fantastic.
2. Mapping It Out

This week, I took the time to look at what I really want from life. Talking to a good friend and also my boss, I was encouraged to aim as high as I want to. I was even encouraged to look into buying a house! I'm 21, and I feel that listening to myself and my goals is so crucial at this point in my life. So, here are a few of the goals I've got for myself:
- Quit Smoking: It's time I stand up for myself and my health and I know I can with all your encouragement.
- Save Money: I am saving to go on a trip in a few years. Not just any trip, the trip of a lifetime.
- Pay off Debt: I am saving to pay off my car loan.
- Take Seablanket to Renegade Craft Fair: Next year, I really want to take Seablanket to Renegade Craft Fair and host a booth. It'd be such an amazing opportunity, and I'd love to be there with all the other crafty people. I'd really like to have a booth at both the San Francisco and Austin fairs!! I'm already dreaming up my booth design!
3. Paper Or Plastic
This week, I got a debit card. In the past I have had issues with using credit or debit, because lets face it...I like to buy things. The last 2.5 years I've used cash and checks for EVERYTHING, but I feel enough confidence in my self-control to have a debit card. I am really excited about it too, it's a big step in the right direction!
4. Do It or Screw It

This week, I was challenged to design something for myself, for the www. Working at a multimedia Marketing and Advertising Firm, I use my creativity often, so I was shocked to find that designing for others is much easier than designing for myself. I was so overwhelmed, but it really showed me the strengths of my design aesthetic and what needs improvement. I hope to challenge my creativity and continue to push my comfort level and learn about myself.
5. Trying New Things

This week, I took direction.
This week, I kept my schedule open.
This week, I stood up for myself.
This week, I learned 25 new french words!
What new things have you been trying lately? I have really been enjoying all these new things I'm consciously letting into my life. You should try it!!
