{Please & Thank You: April 7th}

Bonjour lovelies! Welcome to another Q&A post! This week, a lot of questions on Hair and Makeup, which is fun. Please also note, I'll be making a fun announcement later today, so come back around 3(pst). Now, lets hop to it!!!Makeup:

Q: Your makeup always looks flawless. You have that polished look I admire on Audrey Hepburn. Any tips tricks, or products?

A: Oh my goodness, thank you! What a sweet compliment! I have found that finding the right products for your skin type and your lifestyle will give you the look you desire. Personally, I've found that MAC, Benefit and Almay products work best with my skin. Making sure that I don't overdue it, I apply foundation, cover up, and translucent face powder over a clean & moisturized face. Next, adding blush or bronzer to enhance cheekbones and the temples of my face. Eyeshadow is where I get to play, using a neutral shimmer tone, and then adding a smokey eye with whatever color I feel like that day. Liquid eyeliner on the top lids only with a slight kitten point at the sides, then I pull the same eyeshadow accent color down below my lower eyelids and blend it in to give a soft pop of color. Lastly, I curl my eyelashes and apply mascara. I add chap stick to my lips and head out the door. I'll do a "What's in my Makeup Bag" post soon, so you can see what products I use and how to get more bang for your buck.

Q: What make up do you use?

A: I use Mac, Benefit & Almay... Mostly Mac. Makeup tutorial coming soon!!

Hair:

Q: I saw you say somewhere that you shaved your head in high school. Pictures please!

A: Okay okay, now this just isn't fair!! Ha, It was SO short. I mistyped in a conversation with Diana, when I said I was in high school. I was in college, but only 17, but I got a series of unfortunate haircuts and got so mad I just had to cut it super short. Ha, I have no picture evidence for a reason, I looked awful. Definitely look way better with long hair. HA!

Q: I love the new scarves you are wearing around your head, could you maybe do a tutorial on how you tie the bow? Mine always turn out funky

A: Absolutely I will! I'd love to show you all, it's really simple to do, and ads such a fun touch to any outfit or hair do. I'll post another video hair tutorial in a week or two

Q: I love how you often wear scarves on your hair! I wish I could pull that look off.

A: Aw thank you so much!! I'm enjoying it and think it may be my new "go to" look for a bit. See the above question for info on the How-To's.

Q: Your hair is so pretty! What vitamins do you take and where do you get them?!

A: Oh my, thank you! I use the following vitamins: Maca, Black Cohosh Root, Vitamin C, E and B12. I know that Maca and Vitamins C, E and B12 are all good for skin, nails and hair, and I've seen good results the last 4-6 months I've been using them.

Life:

Q: when is your birthday?

A: June 4th.

Q: Hey, what do you do as a day job? very curious. i love your blog and i love your tattoos. i have loads as well.

A: Hello fellow tattooed person! Glad you've been enjoying what you see..that always makes me feel good to know. As for a day job I work 50+ hours per week as an Account Coordinator at an Advertising & Marketing Firm. It's a lot of work and leaves little time for life outside of work, but I make do. I'm really thankful I have such a great job.

Q: i live to sew, and i love your little tutorials! you should do more! i know time is an issue, but that would still be super cool.

A: I'm actually working on integrating more Tutorials into my weekly routine and filtering some other weekly posts out. I think you'll really enjoy what I've got going on next week!

Q: You're awesome. just thought i would let you know <3

A: Aww, that's so nice. Thank you!

Q: Do you have any tips for someone who wants to become a vegetarian?

A: Why of course I do!! First of all, the fact that you're interested is very exciting. I like to encourage people to take the step to choosing an herbivorous diet, but in the end it must be a personal choice. As long as you are doing it for personal health or moral decisions, I completely support your decision. The most important thing about eating as vegetarian is getting the needed protein every day. My taste buds changed once becoming vegetarian, and I fell in love with many vegetables I'd refused to eat in the past. My recommendation is to start cooking for yourself, and preparing not only meals that you can eat right away but also save for later, by freezing or whatnot. Also, as far as social events go, If someone invites you to a BBQ, bring your own protein such as garden burgers or tofu and make it easy on yourself and others. Also, stay hydrated: water will always be a staple in a vegetarian's/vegan's diet.

Q: Describe your idea of a perfect day.

A: Oh! Um, sleeping in, good hair day, 70 degree weather, lots of good food, good music, good company. Probably go to the seaside. Sorry for the lame answer, I just couldn't come up with a better answer!

Q: scale of 1-10, how ticklish are your feet? :P

A: Um, 10 probably, but my strong will is also a 10, so I think they cancel one another out.
