Tattoos:
Q: Is there even a little portion of your tattoos that you wish you hadn't gotten or wish had been different somehow?
A: I love all of my tattoos. They have significant meaning to my life and most all are memorial pieces for hard times in my life. I cannot say I would change one of the designs or the locations. I do have one piece on my shoulder that isn't the greatest quality tattoo, BUT I still love it. I would love for the lines to be cleaner, but regardless, it means a lot to me, and is quite appropriate for it to be somewhat imperfect for the meaning behind it. I guess I over-think everything so I'm always happy with what I have.
Q: What do you think of people who get state tattoos?
A: I think they're cool. Lots of people have them, but I don't think less of someone for that. I really wanted to get 'Made In Oregon' on my right outside ring finger, and maybe I still will?!
Q: I'm thinking about getting a foot tattoo, but i'm scared about the pain. any tips?
A: Suck it up!! Ha, not to sound too blunt, but it's rough. My suggestion: Bring someone with you to talk with/take your mind off the pain. I hated the process of getting my feet done, and they were so swollen for a week after, but I absolutely love them and they look great. It was worth the two hours of pain.
Q: If you're a vegetarian or vegan, then why the tat with the animal skin on it?
A: It's not animal skin, it's more like an animal coat. Not just the fur of the animal, but the eyes and the faces and the bodies, if you look up close you'll see they kind of envelope/embody the humans who wear them. To me, the animals represent the instincts, characteristics and personalities of the humans. The woman being soft and young and pure is represented by her animal counterpart, the fawn. The man, being strong willed and powerful, even slightly aggressive - all represented by the bear. The way the animals are/will be colored shows them in a very life-like manner, as to not make them seem dead or diseased.
Crafts/Blog

Q: Hi Chelsea, I love your blog so much! hope you don't mind i added your blog button to mine under my favorite blogs to read! :)
A: Aw thank you!! Anyone is welcome to use the blog buttons, that's why they are there!! I really appreciate it your support!
Q: great blog :) happy i found you!
A: Thanks doll!! I'm happy to have been found!
Q: What kind of sewing machine do you use and how much did you buy it for?
A: My sewing machine is the 'Brother' brand and it was a gift from my mom a few years ago. I didn't even touch the thing for over a year.
Q: Would you recommend that I buy a glue gun to attach yarn projects to metal backings (like barettes and pins)?
A: A glue gun is quick and easy but won't last as long as sewing by hand. A glue gun is great for easy crafts and will be very useful for all sorts of projects.
Q: Hiii :) I really love your blog and all the things you make, i wanted to try and make stuff like you do and i was wondering if you have a beginers project ( thats cheap and doesn't involve pliers or a glue gun as i have none :L ) thank you :D
A: Absolutely. I think that headbands and little accessories are the easiest. Try wrapping a headband in ribbon, using some elmer's glue or even rubber bands holding the ends down. You can add faux flowers, a bow or feathers and it's a cute look! I'll make sure to incorporate some simple, projects in the near future that use only a needle and thread or elmers glue. Some of the best craft projects take 5 minutes and .50 cents to make!!
Q: I also work in the ad industry. i'm a creative. and when i get home from a day at work i am usually too knackered to do anything creative, even though there are a million idea running through my mind. how do you find the energy to do so many things?
A: Well, often I don't have the energy to blog, but I do it because I love it. I do consider it another full time job, as even now, I am watching a movie with friends, but have my computer in my lap and am answering these questions. It's about prioritizing and scheduling and above all loving it. Take the time to create and you'll feel like you have a life outside of work... which to me is a must!
Q: Are you still accepting pen pals?
A: I'm not currently, but I always love receiving mail. If you'd like to write, my address is:
PO Box 812
Jacksonville, OR 97530
Q: You should do a tutorial on how to do your makeup!
A: I'd love to, I will do some fun looks soon!
Relationships

Q: do you have a boyfriend? if not when was the last time you had one? what happened? you never talk about your love life so i was curious!
A: I do not have a boyfriend, nor anyone I am interested in. I don't talk about my love life because I don't have one really, which makes me sad but I don't need one at this point in my life, so I think it's okay. I was in a serious relationship a few years back and very in love. Unfortunately, we split up and I've not found anything near as good since then. I'd love to meet a young man who sweeps me off my feet and inspires me, but it must not be my time right now.
Q: Are you currently dating anyone?
A: Nope.
Personal

Q: do you have a facebook? lets be friends! :)
A: I do not have a Facebook. I may be starting one, and if so, I'll make sure to announce it:)
Q: will you be my friend?
A: Yay!! Yes, of course!! I love new friends! xo
Q: What are your favourite and least favourite things about yourself?
A: Favorite: I have a big heart. Least Favorite: I'm so stubborn!!
Q: Hey Chelsea, what are some of your favorite books?
A: I love Everything is Illuminated and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. How We Are Hungry and A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Dave Eggers. Blood Meridian, All the Pretty Horses and The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I also really enjoy books by Kurt Vonnegut, especially The Sirens of Titan.
Q: Can you wear whatever you want to work, or do you have to look professional/conservative? Just wondering, since you have such a cute unique style, if you dress like that at work.
A: I can. I work with all guys, and unfortunately feel very blah at work. It's hard to be inspired when you're surrounded by computer geeks and lots of stressful work. haha, of course I'm geeky too. I guess I usually dress just casual and comfy, with a little sass... like always:)
Q: What do you consider to be your biggest personality flaw? Physical flaw?
A: One of my biggest personality flaws is that I tend to take control of situations. With my job as an account coordinator, I tend to be the decision maker, the problem solver, etc. This tends to reflect into my personal life. I'm really working on controlling that urge.
As for physical flaws, I've got plenty. Too many to number ranging from my dancer feet to the crazy pointed shape of my head. Also, have you seen how white I am??!?
Q: Did you audition for GLEE?
A: Ha, I would've loved to, but I don't think they'd accept someone with so many tattoos like myself. I love musical theater and thing Glee would be a great platform for any one with Broadway dreams!
Q: what's your tumblr url? i know you don't use it anymore, i just wanted to check it out.
A: http://seablanket.tumblr.com I still have a tumblr. I deleted it once, but I have another. I rarely add to it, but it is a fun place to store images/quotes/songs that inspire me.
Q: When are you coming back to Boise?
A: June I think!! I cannot wait!
Q:What does your swim suit look like? I'd imagine it's vintage and too adorable.
A: I have 2 vintage swimsuits and a few modern bikinis. I am looking into getting this one for the summer:

It's so cute!
Q: What's your favorite meal to make?
A: I love making curry dishes, and anything with potatoes. So yummy.
Q: What's your favorite hot drink?
A: I love soy lattes and traditional chai tea: made with black tea, cardamom and cream(soy).
Q: How tall are you?
A: 5'8"
Q: What are your greatest fears? (List ten... if you DARE)
A: 1. Crickets
2. Losing a body part
3. Never seeing my family again
4. The KKK
5. Not being able to breathe
6. Hurting someone physically
7. Eating meat
8. Severe illness
9. Drug abuse
10. Car crashes
